It’s no secret that I’ve been loving this velvet trend! Crushed or smooth, it’s definitely a fave! When I saw this velvet skirt with pleats {🙌🏾!}, I knew I had to snag it. Target is always amazing at providing fashionable, yet inexpensive options. And their new women’s clothing line, A New Day, has so many fab and affordable pieces I’ve definitely got my eye on! P.S. my skirt is currently on sale for under $20! Because I just can’t get enough of the velvet trend, I paired the skirt with these mauve {my favorite color right now!} block heels. This way, I have both crushed and smooth velvet in the same fit!The grosgrain ribbon bow adds such a unique flair to the shoes. They also add a more antique chic look to the outfit, which is kinddddaaa my thing! I wore this outfit to church and a woman looked down at my shoes and said “Oh my! How vintage!” Me: “That’s exactly what I was going for.” To complete the look, I added a floral top, of course, and my jeweled Cameron Street Marci! {breaking her in!} Sadly, my top and purse are sold out, but I have linked similar items for you below.
