🎧 “We are apart of the Rhythm Nation!” 🎤 ICONIC. That’s how I would describe the style of Ms. Janet Jackson! Her Rhythm Nation 1814 album is legendary in E V E R Y way and so is the fashion associated with it! The record definitely set a standard for military-inspired fashion wear and I was and still am all the way here for it! Cue the Pink military jacket! It’s no secret my favorite color is pink. So when I saw this jacket, I thought, “what would Janet do?! Snag it!” And so I did. 😂🙌🏾 I love the fact that it’s velvet {of course!} and that it has intricate ribbon work and embellished buttons to really play up the military inspiration. I added a black mini dress to juxtapose some femininity with the masculinity of the jacket style. To top it off, my Unstoppable x Ambitious pumps are a perfect match for this outfit! To me, those traits scream confidence and that’s exactly what I feel when I wear this fit! So what do you think?? Would Ms. Jackson approve?! Have the best week!
