#ThoseWhoHEAL

So many reasons to love Maevn Uniforms scrubs! The fit. The comfort. The technology. At the very top of my list is the social consciousness behind this brand. This October, Maevn created a #ThoseWhoHeal campaign to illuminate and celebrate medical professionals who day to day make strides against breast cancer. I absolutely love when brands take the time to focus on efforts that lead to improved health and health care for us all! I plan to work in female reproductive health and I have so much respect for all who provide care to women affected by this condition. Breast cancer has impacted so many women around me at my church, my circle of friends, and, most recently, a close family friend who succumbed to the disease on last week. I am so grateful for all the physicians, nurses, public health practitioners, social workers, nutritionists, and the like who participate on the medical decision-making team. I am also grateful for laypersons who heal day to day by speaking a kind word, providing encouragement, and lifting up a prayer. Just a reminder you don’t have to be in the medical field in order to be considered #ThoseWhoHeal.

And can we talk about these scrubs?! The new line for Maevn Uniforms is officially here and I am in love! I knew off the bat I had to have the hot pink ones! You can read my other review of Maevn scrubs here. In addition to its breathability, moisture wicking properties, and quick dry technology, this new line has very practical additions such as a mesh pocket for your phone, a flat front waistband (making the fit extremely comfy!), and is UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) 40+. Need I say more?! Can’t wait to wear these to clinic and on my next mission trip. I wear pink on a weekly basis, but especially in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Through this post alone, Maevn is donating five pairs of scrubs to a medical center dedicated to treating and curing breast cancer and they are doing the same as a response to others who post about this campaign. Just a reminder to live each day as a contributing body of #ThoseWhoHeal💖

Anya
