Alexa, play “New York, New York!” 🗽🍎🚖 Start spreading the News! Literally! When I saw these pumps, I immediately went into “gimme, gimme, gimme” mode! These SJP’s by Sarah Jessica Parker are so beautiful! They are newsprint as a nod to her love for NYC. Annnnnnd if you look closely, you can see “Bloomingdale’s” etched inside the print; thus my stance outside the most popular and iconic Bloomy’s on Lexington. Of course, you can find the grosgrain ribbon stitched in the back as a reminder of her humble beginnings and the bows she once used to adorn her hair. Each SJP shoe is finely crafted to perfection and these are no different. They are a splurge, but so worth it! I constructed my entire look around it: a plaid suit as a nod to “Gangs of New York,” a taupe beret for a smidge of femininity, and (I found an) amazing Off-White construction tape belt dupe for some variety and modern edge!⚠️ Obesessed! And by the way, I had the best time getting these photos in the taxi cab! Shout out to the very kind and patient driver who agreed to let me get the photo opp. He did not even ask for anything, but of course we tipped him! So kind! #NortheasternHospitality! A taxi cab shot is definitely an iconic photo you want to get while in the city. I love that I’ll have these images for years to come! Be sure to size up in the SJPs! These were too tight for me, so unfortunately I was unable to keep them. Here’s hoping Sarah includes just one more size. If she does, I’m definitely reclaiming these pumps!
