On the Metro.

One of the main things I really wanted to conquer in NYC was the subway! I had the chance last November when I went to stay with my brother, Aaron, in Brooklyn for about 6 weeks. I prided myself on getting up everyday and learning the subway. As I rode, I smiled the whole way and thought of my father, Aunts, and their stories of jumping from train to train to get to their various weekend festivities when they were young. It was especially a good day when I did not get lost. Ha! My favorite stop is Herald Square–with Macy’s, Zara👀, and allll the pretty holiday lights! I’m so glad I had that opportunity. The ride across the Hudson and the view of the Brooklyn Bridge from the Q train into Manhattan is simply breathtaking.

This fit is proooooobably not something I’d wear on the train, but definitely would wear posing next to it. Ha! Y’all know I love me a good co-ord set! I love the preppy vibes of this one. So effortlessly chic. My love for #streetstyle would not allow me to complete this look with anything other than fishnet socks and sparkle pumps to boot! Because why not?! I love this suit and can’t wait to mix and match it with other pieces in my closet. Be sure to size up in the skort (yesssss skort!) especially if you have a little 🍑 going on in the back!
