The Perfect Summer Dress.

I know it’s August and, at least in the South, kids are back in school. BUT I’m in no rush for summer to end! I have a few more summer looks to share. And I’ve been cooped up in clinic all year long, so I’m still down to enjoy pure sunshine, summer nights walking around my city, and warm weather attire. This dress is absolutely perfect for summer! I love a good trapeze dress! It’s so flattering on any figure and provides for just the right balance of light (no sticking to your legs because of the silhouette) and airy. This dress comes in multiple colors, but y’all KNOW I had to go with the multi-color stripe🌈 Surprisingly, the long sleeves are comfortable even in the summer heat. Again, the fabric is so light and aerates very well. I paired this dress with these beautiful rattan flats (so darling and under $35!!!!) and…this drop dead gorgeous bag! So far, this is my fave bag I own from this brand. It’s so simplistic, yet beautifully crafted. The handle piece that extends into the body of the bag is my fave feature for sure. I know many bloggers are into luxury brand bags, but I, being a lover of all things vintage chic, have found myself leaning toward wooden bags instead. They are so beautiful, more affordable, come in so many shapes and sizes, and are truly works of art. It’s been so fun to chat with some of the more seasoned ladies at my church and hear how they owned similar bags in the 70s. Love that!
