Endless Summer.

Ok, who else can feel me when I say Atlanta has been smoldering🔥☀️💥?! I definitely still have all my summer gear on deck, BUT I am starting to think about transitional outfits–like this one! The skirt is long enough to take you right from summer into the end of September. And when I can’t yet wear fall fabrics, I like to wear fall colors. All the brown hues in this ensemble are so fall fashion-appropriate, but still keep you cool under the blazing sun. Of course, I’m toting a wooden bag!! Absolutely a summer/early fall go-to. I’m definitely enjoying the rest of the summer (even though my face is perpetually planted in a medical book). Not rushing it. I am making a more conscious effort to be present and to stop rushing my life away.  But I’m ready to at least think about fall FASHUN!

Life update: I am beginning to study for the boards (STEP2)! There are 2 parts: one multiple choice exam and one exam with standardized patient encounters where I have to see patients and form an assessment and plan. If you follow my IG stories (@surgeryandthecity), that’s what our in-school OSCEs prepare us for. Pray for ya girl! Looking forward to passing and enjoying 4th Year!🙌🏾
