32 Blessings!!🎉

32!!🎉🎉🎉 What a time to be alive! This past year has been nothing like what I thought it would be. When I looked over my birthday post for 31, I must say I felt a little disheartened at first. I was able to accomplish some of my goals, but not all. BUT ya know what?! That’s ok. God has blessed me with another year and I’ve still got time to go after what’s MINE! I’m a strong believer that your attitude determines your altitude, so to celebrate today, I wanted to share what I DID accomplish. God has been Faithful to me and I have so much to be grateful for! And today, I’m going to sit back, relax, and bask in That! Without further ado, this past year God saw fit that I:

1. Completed all my requirements for 3^rd Year of medical school
2. Passed STEP 2 CK and CS on the first try after faculty told me I would not
3. Grew my hair to 1 inch above waist length in the back
4. Collaborated with 15 more brands
5. Achieved my dream of collaborating with Nordstrom
6. Wrote 12 chapters of my book
7. Created more IGTV content
8. Created more YouTube content
9. RESTED. Like actually rested.
10. Read books for leisure. Like what??🤯
11. Redesigned my blog logos
12. Created BOMB graduation content
13. Spent more time with family and friends
14. Released friendships with people who could not reciprocate respect
15. Maintained a positive attitude when my in-person graduation was cancelled
16. Grew closer to God
17. Told my testimony on my social platforms
18. Posted a video (my testimony) that kinnnnnda went viral. My line sister told me some of her classmates in the Caribbean know who I am. Wow.
19. Created a safe space for students who struggle in school
20. Provided more non-traditional medical student content
21. Watched “Living Single” from start to finish (multiple times) and remembered how dope my 90s childhood was
22. Secured more paid campaigns
23. Became semi-vegan. Is that a thing??🥬
24. Assisted dismissed medical students with winning their appeals to get back into school
25. Got interviewed by 5 more platforms
26. Paid off my car!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
27. Grew in my confidence surrounding knowledge, assessment, and treatment of patients
28. Thoroughly reorganized my entire apartment
29. Spoke at my church to address the 2020 graduates
30. Publicly honored my parents during that address at church
31. Survived (still surviving?) a whole freaking pandemic!!
32. BECAME A WHOLE DOCTOR!!!

This past year has been special. It’s been unpredictable. It’s been a year full of WINS!! And I cannot even wait to see what 32 has in store. Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes. Cheers to a year FULL of Double Portion, Double Blessings, & Double Favor!
