It’s no secret I don’t mind breaking the rules every now and then. I mean…my entire career trajectory: pretty non-traditional. It’s only natural some of that energy transcends into my wardrobe. That being said, I LOVE to wear white after Labor Day. I wear it year round really. I have always thought the juxtaposition of that color on black skin is so Stunning. There is a regal flow that abounds when this color (all colors!!!) adorn our skin. And when I say white after Labor Day, what I really mean is anything in the white family including cream, off white, and even taupe. We once threw my brother an All White Party for his 16th birthday…he’s born in November. That’s when my Auntie told me, “There is such a thing as winter white.” And from that point on, the no white after Labor Day rule was nil. It can be a bit more difficult to find whites to wear once the cooler temps appear, SO I did a roundup of all the pieces currently in my home, in my cart, and on my list! Wear these pieces with other whites in your wardrobe, with jeans, or even mix it up with other patterns & prints as I did here. However you dress, make your own rules!
