We have several weeks of winter left and I’ve got you covered on how to keep it simple, but chic. I love when I can play around in my wardrobe and find outfits to carry me through the season. To me, that’s the entire point of investing in wardrobe pieces–to be fully outfitted for any occasion. The occasion I have in mind for my winter uniform (sans heels)? Running errands. Ha! Before recently, my winter go-to was a pair of sweats. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but as someone who wears scrubs on the daily, it’s nice to feel chic on my day off.
So I came up with a simple, effortless winter uniform: wool coat, boots, basic top, leggings, ear muffs, printed scarf, crossbody bag. Boom. Instant outfit. I had so much fun putting these simple looks together. They are perfect for errands and for exploring the city. Many of these pieces should be on sale soon if not already. Definitely stock up now to get through the rest of winter and to be ready for next year. Major shopping pro-TIP: Stock up on items near the end of a season so you can get the best deals. Go for classic pieces that will always be in style. Shop below for my top picks!
